I am not usually one to write testimonials, but I feel that putting my experience down may help someone in the future.

About 2 years ago, I was faced with the very common problem that all 4x4 drive enthusiast face, What suspension do I chose for my Hilux?

With so much choice on the market for off the shelf suspension I just wasn’t feeling comfortable with picking an ‘off the shelf product’ as I was worried it would not meet all my expectations.

So, after a strong recommendation, I paid Ken a visit at his workshop in Ingleburn. Ken shouted me a beer and  took me through his workshop showing me all of his product range and what options would be available to me.

Ken came up with a solution, taking into account trips I was planning, loads I was carrying and what the vehicle did every day. The Result, Well all I can say is fantastic!

During the time suspension was installed in my ute it has completed 80 000km and performed without fault  for two trips to Cape York and several other 4x4 adventures.

So after recently disposing of my beloved ute, the time has come to do it all again with a new one. And without hesitation, I gave The Ultimate Suspension a call.

Congratulations - Ken O'Keefe

Australian Ultimate Suspension would like to publicly congratulate Ken O'Keefe (The owner of Australian Ultimate Suspension) on being voted onto the 4WD Industry council's management Committee. We have been an active member of the 4WD Industry council and it is a great honour for Ken to be voted on as a board member. The 4WD industry council is basically set up to protect the rights of both 4WD enthusiasts and business alike by providing a professional link between the Government departments and 4WD users.

Product Training

Thanks to Bob who conducted our product training session today on the (Correct fittment) of a tyre. This is obviiously a very important topic for us at Australian Ultimate Suspension as we need to remove all tyre to correctly fit the suspension. Thanks Bob and your expertise has now been passed on.

We conduct weekly product training courses at AUS for all our staff to continually improve our product knowledge and to better help serve our clients.

The church bells rang 29 times so we knew it was final and the end of the line.
Now 29 miners are at heavens gate with coal silt dirty faces asking is

"job well done" leave your boots at the ......door. Repost in memory of the 29 miners that died at Pike River Mine R.I.P.

Life Membership Award

We would like to congratulate our managing director Ken O'Keefe on being awarded with an honorary life membership with the South West Networking Group (SWNG). This was in recognition of the hard work and dedication Ken has put into establishing and promoting the group, the Macarthur lifestyle and business expo since 2004. Well done and we look forward to continuing this long relationship with SWNG.

Weekend Trip

I was lucky enough to get away on the weekend with some Triton member for a camping trip up at Stockton Beach (Just north of Newcastle). It was a lovely place and I thank the guys for their hospitality and letting a non Triton driver attending the get away. Thanks again guys and I hope to catch up with you guys again on future trips.

Open Day

Australian Ultimate Suspension will be holding a open day at our warehouse in Ingleburn early in the new year. This is to give our clients a insight to the work that is done at A.U.S and how we manufacture our shocks to suit different vehicles. On the day we will have demonstrations for the following

• Building of Shock Absorbers
• Fitting of Supension Kits to vehicles
• How to check your Suspension for damage plus lots more

We have not yet set the offical date for this event but we will post more details in the coming weeks.
